"Serial No. 1803687, manufactured 1944, .45 ACP, 5" round barrel. This Ithaca-produced M1911A1 was manufactured in 1944 during peak WWII wartime production. Pistol has been arsenal refinished, with scattered oxidation present, primarily on exposed edges and the slide. Factory roll markings remain sharp and legible. The checkered brown grips are in good condition, showing light handling wear consistent with use. Action is smooth and functions correctly. This is a solid representative example of a classic WWII U.S. service pistol. Pistol comes with “U.S." marked shoulder holster that also has a name carved in.
