This is a mixed numbers, 1923-dated rifle that has traces of the original blue remaining on the majority of the metal, with a mellow plum-brown patina on the balance, as well as some gray fading at the muzzle and on the other projections. Small and unobtrusive US import markings are present on the barrel just behind the front sight base. The bolt has an overall bright gray patina, with some wear along the bearing surfaces, and is also outfitted with a low-profile Kar.98k sniper safety. The stock and handguard have numerous minor handling marks and small blemishes throughout under a thick added varnish finish. The rifle has an original leather sling installed, and comes complete with cleaning rod and metal muzzle-cover. These rifles were not only used by the Czech Army, but were exported extensively in the run-up to WW2. This example is in about very good condition overall.
