This is an all original pre 64 model 70 Winchester in 338 Winchester Magnum
The gun is in " like new" condition no dings scraps and the bluing is like new.
The bore is perfect, actually shot very little, I know this because I bought the gun in Texas from the original owner back in 1979, the rifle has never been scoped the original owner preferred the open sighs which most of the newer guns don't have. the serial number indicates it left New Haven in 1962.
You won't find a better one, if you know of a better rifle and caliber for those big Alaskan bears let me know , Curio is good on this beauty guys
