32952- WW2 WWII COLT U.S. GOVERNMENT MODEL 1911A1 OR 1911-A1 .45 ACP BRITISH LEND LEASE PISTOL MFG. 1944. Matching original “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” with British proofs on slide, frame and barrel. Slide stamped on left side “RELEASED/BRITISH GOVT. 1952”. Stippled 1911 trigger and front and rear grip straps added as well as match front and rear sights. Excellent with approximately 95% parkerized original finish. Excellent markings. Tight working order and near mint bore. Replacement 1960’s era “1M291” magazine. $2200.
