Full length relief carved stock with horn forend cap and sliding wooden cap-box. Brass mounts and an unusual double set trigger. There is a 1703 dated "HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE" Thaler silver coin inlaid into the wrist. A beautiful example with what appears to have been an early restoration now retaining nearly all of the barrel finish. Bright lock and mellow unpolished brass mounts. Lovely wood and carving.
