I'm offering for sale a Smith and Wesson combat masterpiece in excellent condition. This particular model dates back to Circa 1952. It comes with the original serial number grips and is wearing a set of post war diamond target grips that first came out in the late 40's or early 50's. Notice that there isn't a thumb depression on the left side grip as was with all target grips until sometime around 1957 or 58. This revolver has a tight lockup and bright bore along with excellent bluing and barely visible turn line. But that's not all. It comes with the original serial numbered gold box that is in new condition along with the knurled black SAT (sight adjustment tool), cleaning rod, bore brush and cotton swab all wrapped in a brown tissue type paper that was correct for the period and the waxed paper for the revolver. It also has the original "Helpful Hints" pamphlet and the dry fire practice target. It's not every day you see a Masterpiece from the past, just as it was in 1952, offered for sale. Don't let this one get away.
