Description:
Original 1892 in 25-20 caliber.
S/N 546681 made in 1910.
24" round barrel with full length magazine tube.
Good condition overall with very strong blue on the barrel and mag tube, although the latter has a small dent underneath and some light see-saw takedown marks.
Most of the remaining metal has taken on a darker, even toned grey-brown patina.
The wood is solid and has not been sanded, but shows light to moderate handling marks and some dullness from age and weather.
The bore is fair to good, being somewhat reflective on the lands with well defined rifling throughout, although the grooves appear dark and rough.
Original sights consist of a German silver front and Winchester sporting rear with correct elevator.
All mechanical actions are butter smooth and crisp, with correct function and a positive half cock.
