This Colt Match Target Competition HBAR in .223 Remington is a purpose built target rifle for shooters who want Colt reliability paired with a heavy barrel optimized for match strings and repeatable accuracy. The 20 inch heavy barrel reduces heat warp and helps maintain point of impact during long strings of fire. The flat top upper with removable carry handle accepts optics, or use the factory sights for iron sight work. The rifle is in overall good condition with normal, honest wear from careful use since the early 80s. Function checks good. Included with the rifle is one brand new 30 round magazine and a fitted hard case for secure transport and storage.
This rifle is well suited to bench target work, club level competition, precision practice and any shooter who prefers the controllability and thermal stability of a heavy barrel AR platform.
