Here is a fine Model 99 take-down in .300 Savage with an extra .410 barrel, built in 1941. The rifle barrel is 24" with an excellent bore. The shotgun barrel is 24" with a 2 1/2" chamber and also has an excellent bore, and a fore-end numbered to the gun. The walnut stocks are in very good condition with no cracks. The rear sling swivel is missing. The length of pull is 13 1/4" over a grooved steel butt-plate with a Savage logo. A wonderful Savage two-barrel set for the collector or shooter.
