Description:
The style of Griffin & Howe rifles has changed very little over the years, as we have been providing the same quality of custom hunting guns for over a century now. This rifle is a perfect example of this, built using the Legendary Winchester Model 70 Featherweight as a base, this rifle shows true American craftsmanship from end to end, with precision fitted parts, a hand inletted stock and beautiful deep rust bluing, you will be hard pressed to find a finer rifle. Interestingly, as this is a rifle from the 1950's, it was found that Model 70 barrels were of superb accuracy and were often retained when the rifle was modified by our smiths. This barrel was noted by the previous owner ad being of very high quality, capable of holding very tight groups.
