This Collector and Shooter’s Winchester Model 53 Rifle in 25-20/25 WCF Caliber appears to our eye in approximately 95 Percent Condition (receiver appears refinished) – as if it has been in a time capsule. With SN 99XX it is numbered in the separate Model 53 series – not within the Model 1892 series. As non-experts, we estimate this one was made in the late 1920s during the middle of the 1924 – 1932 Production Run. It is the best looking (almost) 100 year-old rifle in this extraordinary collection; and it looks to be in better condition than examples selling for thousands more. Please refer to the photos and ask any questions or request additional information before purchase as this item will be costly to return owing to CA re-registration and other regulations.
