Description:
Available for sale is the iconic Ruger Super Bearcat 22lr. This single-action revolver is perfect for collectors and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Wood grips with the silver Ruger medallions look almost new with no scratches to speak of. The Bearcat's cylinder bears a factory roll-engraved bear and cougar wilderness motif, adding an artistic touch that showcases Ruger's dedication to detail.
This Super Bearcat revolver was never converted with the Ruger transfer bar making it slightly more collectible. Revolver comes with the older black and red Ruger Box that says “Super Bearcat.” The Instruction and Parts manual, Wax Paper covering, and a Warranty card from Ruger. The matching Serial number has been written on the box with a white pen/pencil. There is only one small blemish on the cylinder that can be seen in the pics. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. Overall finish on metal and wood is about 98%. Superb Condition of this Bearcat indicates very few rounds have been fired through this pistol. It has a very nice and tight lock-up on the cylinder, and there are no significant roll marks to speak of.
The serial number puts the manufacture year at 1972 and also gives it C&R (Curio & Relic) eligible status.
