Description:

Standard configuration Colt MK IV/Series 70 Government Model pistol, nickel finish, in .45 ACP, SN: 93346G70, with 5" barrel, fixed serrated ramp front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide marked "COLT'S MK IV / SERIES 70/ GOVERNMENT MODEL/ 45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER”. Right side of slide marked "COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL" while right side of frame is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A." and serial number "93346G70". Fitted with checkered wood grips having diamonds around screws and silver Rampant Colt medallion inserts. Nickeled magazine marked "COLT .45 AUTO" with rampant Colt logo on floorplates. Complete with original faux wood Colt box with foam insert whose content includes, owners manual, Colt Factory letter, Colt repair service station pamphlet and end label referencing make, model, caliber, barrel length, finish, and serial number.

Condition:

VG/EXC as nicely refinished, now in bright nickel, with minor imperfections under the finish. Crisp as new, upgraded diamond grips with Colt medallions. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. Comparable condition VG box, arguably remarked-to-match end labeling. A nice looking Colt Government Model series 70 pistol, with non-factory nickeled finish, in remarked matching numbered box with era correct literature.
