The Ruger No. 1 is a falling block single shot rifle that features a quarter rib with Ruger‚s integral scope ring mounts, gray laminate stock and stainless steel barrel and action. According to Ruger‚s , it was manufactured in 2002.
The 25-06 cartridge is known as a flat shooting caliber, optimal for deer sized game. With the 26\" barrel you will get maximum velocity and flatter trajectory.
Overall this rifle is in great condition and doesn‚t appear to have been fired/fielded much. It does have some minor imperfections from handling in the stock and metal finish. If the imperfections are bothersome, you could polish most of them out with Flitz or a very fine scotch brite. There are a couple of small dings in various spots that will not affect the performance of the rifle, it‚s just worth noting.The bore and rifling are in great condition.
It comes as pictured with the factory 1\" scope rings. No factory box.
