NSN, circa 19th century, chambered in .74 caliber with a 55" round Damascus barrel featuring a swamped muzzle. Metal is a brown patina, with light surface oxidation present. Faint etching is visible at both the breech and muzzle. Barrel is secured with five-barrel bands. Side plates are of a slim design and display a geometric pattern, with two chrysanthemums noted on each side of the stock. The stock is dark in color, showing light repairs and expected handling marks. Action functions correctly. (AL5481)
