Freedom Arms Model 97 Premier Grade Single Action Revolver .357 Magnum
This a Freedom Arms Model 97 6 shot revolver chambered in.357 magnum and manufactured in stainless steel with a stain finish. This is a Premier Grade on a Model 97 frame, it has a 5 1/2" barrel and it has had the action job from the factory. It comes complete with a matching original factory box, instruction manual, and paper test target.
Condition:
The overall condition of this Freedom Arms 97 revolver is close to new in box. It has been shot but shows very little use. All Model 97's are Premier Grade so this one has the satin stainless steel which is in excellent condition. The smooth laminated rosewood factory grips are excellent as well. The bore is mint. The matching factory box is in good condition overall with some slight wear from storage, with some labels added over the years. This revolver, chambered in .357 magnum, is capable of handling the heaviest loads. Being a Model 97 it is about 80% the size of the Model 83 and as such feels compact and a little easier to handle. They compare in size to a Colt SAA or a Ruger Vaquero.
Freedom Arms are known for the high quality, exceptional tolerances, and excellent durability. They are probably the finest single action available today. These Model 97's make excellent companions in the field or on the farm and this one is an excellent revolver that has seen very little use, in a popular caliber and a good price.
