Early 1944 manufacture Remington Rand 1911 A1 .45 cal pistol. This pistol was purchased from CMP(Civilian Marksmanship Program). Authentication by CMP requires the pistol to be completely disassembled by one of six full time 1911 armorers. All parts are inspected for wear or being substandard. These parts are replaced with USGI parts or mil-spec commercial parts. The pistol is thoroughly lubricated, reassembled, and test fired. When you purchase any weapon from CMP you can take it to the range and be confident it will fire reliably. This pistol is in as close to factory condition as you can get for a used military weapon. Comes in heavy duty sahadow boxed hard case with an extra clip, 2 in total. This pistol is in service grade condition meaning the are light wear marks and scratches. Photos show this to be minimal. There is also an FJA inspector stamp on left side just below the slide stop. Shipping is for fully insured shipping.
