Excellent mid 1950s rifle with the desirable aluminum buttplate and in best all around 30-06 caliber.
S/N 412858 with matching scribed bolt made in 1957.
97% Blue and Varnish. Aluminum bottom metal and buttplate remain in very good shape as well with slight thinning of floorplate anodization. The somewhat washed out grey color of trigger guard is common factory finish for this S/N range.
22" barrel with an excellent bore. Smooth and proper mechanical functions throughout.
