A nice condition 1968 Albanian SKS. Developed with help from the Chinese, the Albanian SKS is one of the rarest variants of the Russian designed SKS, and 1968 is one of the rarest years of Albanian SKS, with an estimated 570 built and only an estimated 180 remaining in existence worldwide. These early year Albanian rifles exhibit much better fit and finish than later produced rifles, likely owing to the Chinese assistance. This example has all matching numbers including what appears to be an arsenal replacement stock. The stock has a few dings, but is overall in extremely good shape. The metal components feature some finish loss around the edges and shallow pitting. Has the proper spike bayonet, two door buttplate, and chrome lined barrel in excellent condition. I have fired this SKS and it operates properly.
