Description:
Victorian cased muff pistols by Joseph Charles Reilly. Boxlock with screw-off barrels, walnut grips with fine checkering and silver lion head terminals, silver thumb plate. Barrel and lock with very fine engraving. Complete with barrel key, bullet mold, and interesting "all in one" powder flask. Hammer safety, folding trigger, one trigger however is not working properly as the hammer will not drop if cocked (disassembly required if cocked!). Original fitted box, repair to the hinges, no key, lock has been replaced by two latches a long time ago, some splitting and wear to the case.
