Aug. Francotte .270 Win. Bolt Action
Built on an FN commercial standard length Mauser action with an extended top strap and traditional Mauser wing safety. The rifle has a traditional Mauser hinged floor plate with a trigger tang extending to the trap grip cap. Bottom metal has a bright “coined” finish and is engraved in a scroll pattern with a gold inlaid head of a whitetail deer and a gold horseshoe on the door of the grip cap.

Numbered “2” in gold on top of the quarter rib, the rifle is not drilled and tapped for scope mounts and fitted with only a quarter rib with one standing/two folding leaf sights and a WR type rearward folding sight hood with thin blade and single brass bead.
Nicely figured walnut stock has a wrap point pattern checkering with an ebony forend tip and no provisions for a sling swivel. The steel butt plate is finished and engraved to match bottom metal.
Rifle remains in as new condition.
