Offered for sale this rare Produced from 1928 to 1940 Savage Mod. 45 Super Sporter in 30-06 Springfield ! Comes with a vintage Redfield 4X scope with clear optics & Post and cross hair and Pachmayer pivot mount to allow access to the iron sights at close range !
Has 95 to 98% original Bluing and 99% finish on the wood stock ! There is a little bluing discoloration on the trigger guard and butt plate that could be restored to original factory condition! There is a vintage Compass installed that works in the stock, representative of the times in hunting equipment! Has a detachable clip for easy loading! Has original factory iron sights! The only distraction are the 10 small notches added over time on the stock for the deer harvested by the owner!
