Left hand Dakota Model 76 Safari .416 Rigby Magnum. Serial R0044L has a 24-inch barrel (ramp front sight with brass-beaded blade and folding moon sight, banded sling swivel stud, island express rear sight with windage-adjustable blade). Features include a rust blue finish, full-length claw extractor, three-position safety, recessed bolt release lever and a drop box magazine. No box, papers or accessories. STOCK: Properly shaped and appointed for a dangerous game caliber, the AA-grade walnut is dressed with an ebony forend tip, wrap checkering, twin ebony-capped crossbolts, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, steel grip cap, inletted toe line stud and a logo recoil pad. CAPACITY: Five rounds (four plus one). Feeding, extraction and ejection are smooth and positive. The extractor “snaps over” rounds dropped into the magazine. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 9.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright with a small thumbprint-size area of trace roughness. Mechanics are solid.
