The Model 88 is Winchester's 'other' lever action, made to appeal to a more modern aesthetic. They are much more "sealed up" than the traditional models. This keeps debris out of the action and allows the mounting of optics to be much easier. This one was manufactured in 1963, and will be a favorite for still hunters, or anyone looking for a light recoil hunting rifle for medium game and pest control. .243 Winchester
