Description:
Serial #157146, .41 Swiss CENTERFIRE, 33" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a Bern-manufactured rifle that was professionally converted to Centerfire. It now has about 90-92% of the original blue finish remaining on the metal, with some mild fading at the muzzle, silvering on the exposed edges, and there are scattered spots of mild brown freckling on the bolt handle and nosecap. The walnut buttstock and forend have minor surface scratches and surface blemishes scattered throughout the original oil finish, as well as a line of vertical bruises on the left side of the buttstock. The cartouches are still crisp and clear on the comb, and the spare firing pin compartment under the buttplate is empty. The original steel cleaning rod is included.
