Payment Types Accepted: Cash, Check, USPS Money Order Description: This Mossberg 1500 Grade II Mountaineer bolt-action rifle, chambered in .223 REM, was made by Howa in 1986 or 1987. It has a 25-inch heavy barrel with a high-polished blued finish, a beautiful one-piece Monte Carlo checkered walnut stock/forend with a high-gloss finish, internal five or six-shot magazine, front and ready sling swivel studs, and a Tasco 6-24 x 40 scope, mounted. The rifles overall length is 44 inches; its unloaded weight is 10 pounds, 10.6 ounces, including mounted scope. Its length of pull is approximately 13 ½ inches. The only accessories with this rifle is the Tasco scope. There are no other accessories with this rifle. The overall condition of this gun is about 98+ percent. The barrel and receiver are 98+ percent, with a blemish a ¾ inch blemish on the top right side of the barrel, about two inches in front of the scope, and 1/8-inch round blemish on the top right side of the barrel, about eight inches in front of the scope. There are no other marks, rubs, rust, or other signs of wear on the barrel and receiver. Bore is in excellent condition, bright and shiny. The walnut stock/forend is 99 percent. There are two small dings on the bottom right side of the forend, about seven inches back from the front end of the forend. There is one small dent to the wood on the left side of the stock, about a half inch from the middle point of the checkering. There no other marks, rubs, dings, or other signs of wear on the stock/forend. The checkering is deep and crisp, with damage or other marks or blemishes.
