Description:
The Sig Sauer P365XL is one of the most popular concealed carry pistols on the market today for its compact size, light weight, and impressive capacity for its size. The XL version of the P365 is not an "extra-large" size, rather the 'X' stands for 'extended grip,' while the 'L' designates a longer slide and barrel. The P365XL carries up to 12 rounds of 9mm Luger in a flush-fitting magazine and can accept larger magazines such as Sig Sauer's own 15-, 17-, and 20-round magazines for the P365 platform. The P365 pistol is a modular design, similar to those found in the Sig Sauer P320/M17/M18, Beretta APX, Springfield Armory Echelon, Ruger RXM, Zev Technologies OZ9, and other frame/chassis-style pistol designs that are becoming increasingly popular. The registered firearm "frame" or "receiver" part of the pistol is a serialized Firing Control Unit or "FCU," which can be removed from the polymer grip module without the use of tools and put into other grip modules of different sizes, colors, shapes, and materials. This makes one P365 FCU a very capable tool in an arsenal, able to be configured for many different shooting applications. The P365XL has a 3.7" compact barrel and an X-series flat-face trigger. This model does not feature a manual thumb safety lever, though it can be added later by the user with little modification. The slide on this pistol has a set of 3-dot green tritium Siglite night sights with a green outline around the front sight. The rear sight is fixed and mated to the inbuilt optic plate, which covers a Holosun K/RMSc optic footprint. The grip module does feature Sig's proprietary P365 accessory rail, which allows for weaponlight or lasers to be attached (some may require an adapter). This pistol does have some dirtiness within the factory stippled grip texture and one magazine baseplate is also a bit dirty. However, the gun is quite clean otherwise and does not appear as if it has seen more than a couple hundred rounds.
