This is a 1941 dated rifle that retains about 97-98% of an arsenal-applied blue finish with some mild gray along some of the exposed edges and bearing surfaces. The turned-down bolt retains its original armory bright finish and there is a very small and unobtrusive import mark present on the underside of the barrel ahead of the nosecap. Some of the bolt components were arsenal renumbered to match. The darkly finished stock and handguard exhibit numerous minorr handling marks and surface blemishes in the original military oil finish throughout, including an irregular scratch running for about 4" up from the buttplate on the right side, and the stock disk has been marked at "2" with a nominal bore diameter of 6.50mm. An unnumbered cleaning rod is present, and an excellent condition original brown leather sling is installed. This is an excellent example of a WW2 dated Swedish Mauser. FFL or C&R; Price: $875.00 |
