Cool old Superposed with a few apologies. The stock has an long extension on 14" of original wood that is somewhat ill-fitted. A good deal of cast off was added at some point. The signed engraving is stunning. All the metal is very good. The wood has some bumps and usage marks, but nothing glaring or unsightly. With some love, this becomes a fine shotgun!
While mechanically sound and functioning, this gun needs a proper strip/clean/lube. Orvis Gunsmith can offer this service for an additional $200.00
