Nice W. & C. Scott & Son SxS 12 gauge shotgun. Serial number 1108xx matching on watertable, barrel rib and fore arm iron. 30” Nitro Proofed barrels choked F/M. 2 ¾” chambers. Automatic ejectors. Lightly engraved receiver marked W.& C. Scott & Son. Top of right barrel marked “Webley & Scott Ltd.; top of left barrel marked 55. Victoria St. London. SW 1” Barrel flats marked “ 12 Crown/BV Crown/NP 12/C in Diamond 2 ¾” Nitro Proof 1 ¼” “. LOP 13 7/8” over new silvers type pad. DAC 1 ¾”. DAT 2 ½”. Prince of Wales stock with blank silver oval. About 90% condition with signs of handling; blue wear on lower receiver and tang tuning to silver patina. Blue on barrel shows signs of handling; some case color remains on receiver. Nicely figured finely checkered stock has very good finish; signs of handling. Functions as it should; thumb lever right of center; excellent bores. Overall a fine example.
