An authentic piece of WWII history, this Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle was produced by Kokura Arsenal between 1944 and 1945 and chambered in 7.7 Japanese. This later-war example still features the Imperial chrysanthemum, though it appears to be lightly struck or partially defaced.
Cosmetically, this rifle shows character consistent with its age—wood dings, patina, and scattered surface wear—but remains solid and complete. Metal components exhibit age-appropriate finish wear and darkening, and the bore shows visible rifling. A great candidate for collectors of WWII Pacific Theater arms or Japanese militaria.
