Description:
This is a nice Civil War era sword. Condition is Very Good - Excellent. Stamped GERMANY by by Oehm & Co. from Baltimore, MD. The blade is beautifully engraved. The brass hilt and scabbard fittings have old, uncleaned patina. The scabard and blade have not been cleaned and are in original used condition. The grip is excellent. The leather waser is still mostly intact. Overall length is 36 " and the blade is 30" in length.
