Here is THE AMERICAN DOUBLE ACTION solid frame model made by H & R. These were made in large numbers in the later 1870,s to the turn of century.This one falls in the early era because it has no maker,s name,address,or caliber on barrel;nor a serial on the butt.Its 6 shots and in .32 S & W Long bl. pwd. cartridge.The mechanical is great and fairly tight lockup when trigger is pulled all the way.Also,safety notch and single action are firm and cannot be pushed off.Chambers are great and barrel rifling seems all there with light pitting from black powder era.Grips fit well and are nice.Frame has patinia finish and cylinder has most of its finish.Frame could be polished to match cylinder,or leave as is.I sell antique guns for collecting and display.If intending to use,one must have a gunsmith check for safety to use and proper load.
