Description:
Serial #59786, 11.7x51R, 35 3/4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a Danish armory conversion from rimfire to centerfire (the breechblock has holes for either firing pin), and is equipped with the long ladder sight. The metal has an overall armory bright finish that has turned to a dull gray patina on some areas, with the barrel having a darker freckled gray-brown patina along its length. The markings on the left side of the receiver are still crisp, as are the tang markings. The European walnut forend and buttstock have minor handling marks and small surface blemishes in the thick, military oil finish, and the small brass stock disk on the right side of the butt has been arsenal ground smooth. The action is tight and functions flawlessly. The rifle comes with an original ramrod, and this is a fine example of a centerfire Danish Rolling Block overall. Antique;
