Description:
Winchester .22 W.R.F. Model 90 ca. 1923. It has a blued receiver with game scene engraving and gold inlays. The right game scene depicts 2 squirrels running in a tree; the left side shows 3 rabbits. The animals are inlaid in gold, and the receiver in game scenes have gold borders. The engraving is signed with the initials "N.K." behind the trigger guard on the guard tang. The same way Winchester factory engraver Nick Kusmit signed his engraving jobs.
The barrel has a 24" octagon barrel and is chambered for Winchester Rim Fire (.22 W.R.F.)
Highly figured piece of feather-crotched walnut stock has a crescent butt with the original smooth blued steel butt plate and corn cob forend.
The rifle remains excellent as refinished, and the bore is very good.
