"Serial No. 4510au, manufactured in 1944 at the Waffenwerke Brünn (Brno) arsenal, under the German ordnance code “DOT", chambered in 8mm Mauser with a 24-inch round barrel. Serial numbers are matching throughout, with the exception of the stock, which is a correct-type field replacement. The metal retains 85–90% of the original blued finish, showing light brown surface patina and honest service wear. The stock remains in very good condition, showing only light handling impressions, and the upper handguard bears the “DOT" marking. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle includes an original wartime sling. This example is a representative mid- to late-war Brno-produced K98k.
