Description:
This Johnson Automatics Model 1941 was produced in 1941 The rifle's serial number is A 8945. These Johnson Automatics were not matched serial numbers. The only serial number that is important is the serial number of the receiver. The receiver has the correct Cranson Arms in a triangle stamped on the right side of the receiver  by the breech. This rifle has the seldom seen hold open device to keep the bolt open on the last shot. These rifles had a ten shot rotary magazine. These magazines can be loaded with the Springfield five round chargers or loaded singly. The original barrel is chambered for the 30 government 1906 service round [30-06] . The bore is in very fine bright condition showing very light if any use. The barrel has the correct stamps on the barrel that is generally seen on original Johnson barrels. This includes the gladius sword the JA and 30-06 and also the serial numbers. The original military finish would rate a 99% or better  condition. The stock and hand guard are in new looking condition. The original wood finish is in very fine condition. This rifle has a correct World War 2 canvass sling with the flat buckle. This rifle has the original Johnson bayonet and scabbard. This bayonet is in very fine condition and lock up tight when installed. This Johnson is in very fine unissued looking condition with it's original bayonet and scabbard. It is very seldom that one of these Johnson Automatics come up in this fine of condition with the original bayonet! This particular rifle is the best Johnson Automatics that we have ever handled! This rifle will be a real highly coveted addition to any high end military collection!
