Model 1898 U.S. Springfield Krag-Jorgensen rifle. Serial number 206062 manufactured in 1898.
30" barrrel with sharp rifling and thinning but complete blue. 1901 rear sight upgrade. Wood is in
fine condition with exception of small rough spot behind bolt (see pix). Slight outline of cartouche on
left side. Circle "P" proof and regimental (rack?) number "38" behind trigger guard. Action is smooth
and functions correctly. A very nice Krag at a very reasonable price.... $1,175 plus shipping.
