Here is a nice little Darne "Halifax" in 16 gauge. The barrels are 68cm (26.8") with a raised rib. The chambers are 2 1/2" and the bores are excellent, choked .017/.030 (about modfied/light full). There are a few scratches in the barrel bluing, mostly toward the breech end. The gun locks up like a vault. The lightly figured European walnut has a few dings and scratches and some discoloration in the butt-stock. It measures 1 7/8" x 2 5/8" x 14 1/4" over a smooth horn butt-plate. The cast is neutral. The weight is 5 lbs 13 oz. These are wonderfully made bird guns, and unlike anything else. If you've never had one in your hands, you're in for a treat.
