A very nice example of a J. P. Sauer & Sohn double barrel boxlock shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. The 28" blued steel barrels are marked "BARRELS BY ARMAF LIEGE-BELGIUM" with solid concave matte rib and a single brass bead front sight. The case colored action displays light floral scroll engraving, with "J. P. SAUER & SON." on either side, double triggers, and tang mounted automatic safety switch. The stocks are two-piece hand-checkered high grade walnut, round knob pistol grip, fluted straight comb, splinter forend, and a rubber recoil pad. 12 Gauge
