The durable construction of the 870 and its simple-yet-effective design has kept it in demand since its inception in 1950. This shotgun is an Express Super Magnum model chambered in 12 gauge. The receiver and barrel paired together are capable of chambering all 12 gauge loads up to 3 ½". The barrel measures 28" long with a vented serrated rib with a single silver front bead. The receiver and barrel are finished in a matte black oxide finish that is long-lasting and durable. Dressed in black synthetic furniture, this 870 shotgun is weather-resistant and ready for long days in the field. The buttstock also wears a rubber buttpad to keep shooters' shoulders cushioned even under the most punishing loads.
