The Savage Model 24 series fills a niche for the everyday woods-runner. This one is set up as a varmint rifle over a heavier gauge shotgun. It is an excellent choice for the coyote hunter who wants something with a bit of reach for long range shots, and a bit of spread for close work. It would also be a great choice for the turkey hunter in those states that allow the use of rifle for turkey harvest... or the shooter who just needs an all-purpose dooryard gun to control pests. .222 Remington/20GA

Metal Condition: Very good. The receiver may have a bit of thin "blush" rust.
Wood Condition: Very good. There are a few minor scratches. The stock has some scattered spots of what looks like water stains from splashed rain.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright with good rifling in the .222 barrel.
