Description:
The M1 Garand was a departure from the accepted arms of the time. Most nations used mechanically operated rifles patterned after the Mauser. The Garand employed an autoloading action that rewrote combat. This one is in very good condition with few defects. There are some replacement parts, most notably the barrel has no manufacturer's stamp. The stock has a number of handling marks, but most of the cartouches are clear. Nice rifle and a great addition to any WWII or Korean Conflict collection. YOM: 1943 .30 Cal
