Offered for sale this week is a fine Colt Offical Police shipped during WW2 thu the Defense Supply Corporation. It was they issued to a Defense plant as listed on the factory letter. Original blued finish is pretty strong. Grip straps show some thinning of the blue. The grips are numbers matching on the inside. The underside of the barrrel has the punch dot inspection mark seen on period military shipped pistols.
