Undoubtedly the single finest Purdey I have had the privilege of handling, this sublime .410bore Purdey has it all! Built in 1980 with 28" chopper lump barrels. Splinter forend is very nicely point pattern checkered with rose and scroll engraved Anson type pushbutton release and irons. Case hardened sidelock receiver is spectacularly engraved in Ken Hunt's best quality rose and scroll work and is flawless in execution. Signed by Hunt on the trigger plate in gold letters as seen in the photos. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, and auto safety. The fabulously figured straight grip buttstock terminates with its original checkered butt. Gun is housed in its original makers supplied case with accessories as seen in the photos..
This exquisite Purdey remains as new and factory test fired only. Everything about the gun is absolutely perfect. Case is excellent with very minor travel wear.
