I purchased this gun over 30 years ago. The gun was camo-painted. I no longer hunt geese, so I completely stripped it. The metal and wood were protected by the camo covering. The receiver has beautiful case hardening. The metal is in great shape with no rust, pitting, or dents. The wood is also in great shape with no dents, divots, cracks, or splits. I refinished it in a gloss urethane. Single-shot 10-gauge guns are tough to find, and this one is ready to hunt with decades of life remaining. The barrel can be shortened to make an awesome home defense weapon.
