I have a nice CMP 1911 A1 Field Grade with slide and frame from Remington Rand. The serial number places the date of manufacture in 1945. Comes as shipped from CMP (case, chamber flag, reprint of manual, lock, one Mecgar magazine but with the exception that it comes with a photo copy of the Certificate with the original purchaser's name blanked out). Located in New Kent VA. My phone was issued in NY that is why it is 845 area code. US Postal Money Order.
