From a Midwest sale, a Remington Rolling Block Saddle Ring Carbine 7mm ( 7×57mm Mauser) caliber. Very smooth action with a strong hammer spring and good extractor. 20" round barrel with a good bore. The action trigger and hammer function as they should and are very crisp. The receiver and barrel of the rifle are a grey patina (see photos). The barrel has a nice bore and should be accurate. The barrel has a ladder style adjustable rear sight and a fixed blade front sight. The stock and forend are solid with no cracks or chips; however, there are dents and dings on the wood from the last 100+ years. The stock is fitted with a steel, military style butt plate. Everything functions as it should and shows very little wear. The rifle appears to have been maintained and is in excellent condition (see photos). Although it appears capable, I can not guarntee a rifle this old will shoot; therefore, I'm offering this rifle with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
