About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for about 60 years, and am a Benefactor/Life NRA member. I feel that it is now time to start selling a few things. Description:
Very Nice Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 Featherweight chambered in 30-06 Springfield, Made in 1961. This is a very interesting Model 70. I purchased this at the Salt Lake Gun Show in 1999 or 2000 from an Attorney who was selling some of his model 70s to purchase a cabin in the mountains. He told me that he bought it in perfect condition and wanted to use it to hunt deer and elk. The story goes that he took it on one hunt and over the course of a week hiked all over the mountain and did not even get a shot. He did manage to take a small chip out of the base of the grip that is shown in the pictures and also to scratch up the floorplate while trying to spot deer through the scope. If you look closely, the photos show some small bumps and scratches in an otherwise beautiful stock. The walnut stock has some nice Tiger Striping on both sides. The metal on the rifle, excepting the floorplate, looks almost new. The rifle has a Weaver (new model) 4X38mm scope mounted in Leupold Quick Detachable rings. The scope is bright and clear. The bore is bright and in excellent condition. There have been no alterations to the metal or the wood. The checkered walnut stock has the original plastic buttplate and has not been cut.

SAFETY WARNING- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired, and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.
RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges both ways. Please ask questions.
Return Policy Guidelines of GunsInternational Unless the buyer and seller agree to modify, as may be the case in a new gun, layaway, international sales and for used guns and accessories it must be clearly marked in the listing as No Return, the return policy is three (3) calendar days from the day the item(s) are received by the buyer or delivered to the FFL acting for the buyer. The item may be returned for any reason, but the buyer must notify the seller within the three (3) calendar day inspection period. The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a complete refund, less all shipping, transaction fees and FFL charges. On a return the buyer must not remove the firearm from the FFL premises without approval of the seller. Once the firearm has been received by the seller and inspected a prompt refund will be issued. Shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item(s). The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance i.e... Priority, Express, Blue Label etc. The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer. This is an inspection period only, a gun is not to be fired or disassembled. Sellers written permission is required to allow the buyer to take down a takedown model during the inspection period. Upon the receipt and inspection of the returned gun, the seller agrees to issue a prompt refund. Recommendation: Confirm purchase with all details via the Contact Seller form within the listing and print out the listing for your records. Industry standard is that if a buyer fails to perform on a layaway that any monies deposited are forfeited. GunsInternational recommends all layaways are agreed in writing. Any modification of the 3 day return policy must be in writing by both buyer and seller.
