Description:
This is a super cool and quite rare S&W 629 dash 5 "Alaska Backpacker ll" with a 3" barrel and chambered in 44 mag. Only 300 were produced for Alaskan Distributor V.F. Gace. It sports the "NLT" serial prefix. Product code 103689. It's in really nice condition with just a few very small imperfections in the finish. The mechanics are outstanding with perfect timing on each hole and a dead tight lockup with no cylinder end shake. Action is super smooth. It has the factory original Patridge white dot front sight and 2 dot rear sight blade. Comes with Hogue hardwood boot grips. Just a killer snub nose big bore. No case or paperwork.
